We had an amazing time at Barbara's Boutique! Our stay was for 4 nights and we couldn't have picked a better location. It's just a short walk to the main square, but far enough away from the noisy bars and clubs. The staff, especially the friendly girl at reception with long hair, made us feel right at home. Our spacious room had a balcony with a breathtaking view of Volcan Agua. The hostel had a great relaxed atmosphere, even in the dorms, and the beds were comfortable with privacy curtains. The community area with the roof terrace was a highlight, offering stunning views of Fuego and Acatenango.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We absolutely loved our stay at Barbara's! The hostel is beautiful, comfortable, and centrally located. The rooms, whether dorms or private, were clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The staff, especially Gabi the receptionist, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and transportation options. The hostel had a nice, chill vibe and one of the most stunning interior designs we've ever seen. The breakfast and afternoon cake were delicious, and the kitchen was the biggest and most equipped we've seen in a hostel. we couldn't recommend Barbara's enough!
Everything was great! 😊

Fantastic kitchen with a herb garden available for use. Tasty breakfast and free coffee all day.- Social spaces including a gorgeous roof terrace.- Good WiFi for video calling and streaming Netflix.- Tours, transport, and laundry services available.- Clean rooms and bathrooms with daily cleaning service.- Comfortable beds with curtains for privacy.
Not a social or party hostel, may be too quiet if you're looking to meet people. Payment is only accepted in cash, which can be inconvenient.

I absolutely loved my stay at Barbara's Boutique in Antigua! The value for money was incredible, with a comfortable bed, USB plugs for convenience, and a stunning private terrace with a view of volcano Agua from my room's private bathroom. The location was perfect, close to the main square, and the staff went above and beyond to help me when my luggage was lost during my trip to Guatemala. A big shoutout to Gabi and her colleagues for their exceptional service!
The breakfast experience could be improved by ensuring that there is always enough food available during busy times. It would be great if they could initially put out more eggs, bread, pancakes, and fruit, and then top them up as they are consumed.

We loved staying at Barbara's Boutique! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The facility itself is beautiful, with a well-equipped kitchen and a rooftop terrace that offers stunning views. The common areas were also great for socializing but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Plus, the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The daily bed sheet change and the availability of two pillows made our stay even more comfortable. We won't stay anywhere else when we're in town.
